Step by step Guide
  • Launch Day Trader

    Once you launch Day Trader you will be presented with the dashboard.

    The list of available markets are shown on the left hand side (1). Clicking on one of these will open it up in a new tab. Move between markets by switching between tabs.

    Day Trader help and our tutorials is available on the right hand panel (2).

    Our LIVE NEWS FEED direct from the Dow Jones  runs across the bottom of the screen keeping you up-to-date with all the latest important financial news. Click on here to read the full news story and see what’s been happening through the day.

     

    Choose your market

    Select the market you want to bet on from the list in the left hand panel (1).

    You can then choose the type of bet you wish to place on Day Trader by clicking on the available options running across the bottom of the Market Level Graph (2):

    1.  Choose between Fixed Odds or Binary Betting
    2.  Pick between our 5 minutes, hourly or daily betting periods 
    3.  Select whether you wish to bet against the “start level” or “current level” of the betting period

    Tip!

    Choose your level

    Choose what level you want to bet against by clicking the levels on the price grid (1).

    With the introduction of our New Dynamic Grid Levels, when betting against the “start level”, our levels move with the markets ensuring there are plenty of exciting betting opportunities available for you.

    The level you are betting on is represented on the graph by the horizontal red line (2).

    Tip!

    Choose different levels to suit your style of betting, short odds or long shots, you should always be able to find an opportunity that suits you.

    The graph will show you the period you are betting on to the right and also the two periods prior to your bet, so you can see the trend and predict the next movement!

    Rise or fall?

    If you think the market will rise, select the “Above” button. If you think the market will fall, select the “At or below” button.

    Remember!

    If the market finishes at the same level that you bet against at the end of your trade the “At or below” button will be the winning selection.

    How much?

    Select your stake from the dropdown box, or type in your own amount.

    For Binary Betting your total stake is shown underneath the dropdown box.

    Tip!

    Click in the stake box to type in your own amount or choose from the dropdown.

    Day Trader will remember your last stake to make it easier for you to select. Simply choose it from the drop down menu.

    Place your bet

    Once you are happy with your bet, click the ‘place bet’ button.

    Your open bet will appear in the right hand panel in your “open bet slip”

    Remember

    Now your bet has been placed you can always watch what happens in real time on the graph and  see the value of your open bets.

    Take your profit

    You can see the changing value of your bet throughout your trade and opt to close your bet to take the amount displayed on the “close” bet button shown on your open bet slip.

    The level at which you have bet against will be indicated by the blue marker on the graph.

    The time you have left to close your bet, or open any new bets on this market is indicated by the “trading closes” countdown timer at the top of the graph.

    Remember

    You cannot close your bet within the last 30 seconds of the market, shown by the red area on the right of the graph. For hourly and daily Commodity markets you cannot close your bet within the last 5 minutes of the market.
